FLoating Suction Lines
Water and foreign bodies settle at the bottom of the tank through gravity.
Floating Suction Systems are designed to enable the removal of the stored product near the product surface, contaminant-free. Our Floating Suctions are engineered to operate in conjunction with all types of floating roofs or without a floating roof.
Our Floating Suction Systems are designed to meet all requirements of the storage tank size and submerged environment. All components are compatible with the stored product providing a long life and trouble free system that will be custom designed for your specific application.
Our Design Office dimensions the floating suctions to extract the upper layer of the stored liquid at the tank outlet.
The extracted product is cleaner and the filters work less.
Complete service from one and the same source for the construction of new or the retrofitting of existing systems. We provide complete service that covers consultation and advice, technical design, production and assembly. It goes without saying that our products conform to international standards.

Our Skimmer systems are a proven solution for draining a light liquid product off the top of a heavier product in a cone or dome roof storage tank. The Skimmer floats on the top product (ex. oil over water) to collect the lighter of two non-mixable liquids into a vortex breaker. The liquid is then drained out of the tank through our flexible hose. Skimmers are made of stainless steel to perform in the most corrosive product environments. An intake fitting and vortex breaker ensure optimal flow as the fluid starts into the skimmer conduit. The Skimmer intake is adjustable to control the amount of liquid collected.
Our stainless steel flexible pipe features 100% aromatic resistance and includes a smooth internal fluidway for maximum liquid flow. Draining the light fluid is controlled by using a valve at the shell nozzle. Pumps can also be used to draw the light fluid out of the tank. Other hose assemblies and carbon steel Skimmer components are available on request.
